Let's uncover details of her boyfriend, husband, or partner. For those of you who are new, every year I break down the list of athletes who are openly queer in the league. As a queer person who has played basketball my entire life, the off-court drama is always equally as exciting as the on-court display of skills. No matter how masculine presenting someone is, I will not be speculating!

In terms of queer things to know, Chelsea Gray and her wife Tipsea Moorer are absolutely adorable together. The Dream team is going to be great this year in my opinion—not necessarily when it comes to winning, but when it comes to having rootable players. Te-Hina PaoPao, Rhyne Howard, and Allisha Gray are all great athletes who could really make something happen for themselves on this team.

The Fever pulled together a few big moves in the offseason in order to get themselves in playoff contention, including the signing of all three players on this list. It could definitely be a really good year for them. On the downside, Natasha Howard is a bit past her prime and Sydney Colson is far from an ideal backup point guard. Hopefully Steph White can continue what she did in Connecticut and whip them into shape.

The drama! She joins her girlfriend Isabelle Harrison on the court for a super team that just got a bit more super. If you like great basketball, Brooklyn is the place to see it. This Lynx team is also putting together what they think could be a championship winning team. Cheryl Reeves, the coach, is one of the winningest coaches in the world and has been able to get her teams to the WNBA championships in a way nobody else has.

Led by Unrivaled founder Napheesa Collier, they could be really good! Natisha Hiedeman is a talented back-up point guard. After Diana Taurasi announced her retirement, Natasha Cloud and Brittney Griner left Arizona and the beautiful new practice facility and headed for greener pastures. That leaves Kahleah Copper as the remaining star. She had a breakout season last year and I expect her to continue being just as delightful to watch this year.

Thomas is a triple-double machine who will somehow out-rebound you despite having two torn labrums. She made her Olympic debut last year at 32 years old and is just overall someone very worth rooting for. Sami Whitcomb rounds out this team at point guard. Off the court, she has a wife and kids that are incredibly cute. Straight both meanings baller Satou Sabally should hopefully be the final piece to make this team click provided she can stay healthy.

If you want to watch a young team grow, Mystics might just be your best bet. Iriafen has already gotten into on-court fights with known MAGA supporter Sophie Cunningham in preseason alone, making her both a ally and an early contestant for the most technical fouls in the year award. In other gay news, Stefanie Dolson and her girlfriend are cute and Brittney Sykes girlfriend is the ultimate WAG, bringing fashion and support.

The Chicago Sky are back and better than ever, baby! And by that, I mean Courtney Vandersloot is back and now she has a baby. The athlete is married to fellow Chicago star Allie Quigley, who retired from basketball or so it seems a couple years ago. While Vandersloot brings the most experience and assists to the roster, the true stars are Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso.

The 2nd year players will be starting their first season truly playing together after Cardoso was out with injury much of last year.
